At Bhakti House, we know it’s sometimes difficult to know which class or classes will work best for you; especially if you’re new to yoga! Let us help with this quick guide to our classes.
Yoga for Beginners
and Experience Practitioners
Reconnect with Traditional Yoga — 60 or 90 Minutes
You and your body started life as friends. Somewhere along the way, that friendship got lost. In this class, we use traditional yoga postures, breath and mindfulness to realign body and mind. Reconnect with that original friendship gives you increased access to bodily health and to mental peace.
Classes include a combination of traditional yoga postures, breath, mindfulness and meditation.
No previous experience required.
Relax with Yoga Nidra — 60 Minutes
A happy life naturally balances tension and relaxation. In our busy lives, we’ve forgotten how to maintain that balance. This class begins where regular yoga classes end. As you rest in this guided meditation, you experience the deepest levels of relaxation and peace. This deep relaxation restores that balance of tension and relaxation, rejuvenating body and mind.
We recommend that you bring a light blanket or meditation shawl and a pillow for your head.
Classes include a combination of breathing techniques, inward focus and meditation.
No previous experience required.
Yoga for Experienced Practitioners
Revitalize with Meditation in Motion – 60 or 90 Minutes
There are those days in life where everything flows effortlessly, moment to moment. We know those times of ease are out there but most days seem filled with more struggle than ease. It’s like we’re constantly swimming upstream. This class gives you tools to flow with the currents of life by refining your attunement to the natural intuition of the body. This attunement, in turn, allows you to follow the natural ebb and flow of life rather than having to always struggle through life. This revitalizes your entire approach to life.
Classes include a combination of breathing techniques, postures, inward focus and meditation combined in a way you may have never experienced before.
Previous yoga or meditation experience recommended but not required.
How much does it cost to attend a class? Classes are offered in accordance with the tradition of dana.
